Please file a separate issue. If you can, attach a patch there so that
hadoop's build generates maven artifacts. Then we'd need documentation added
to HowToRelease describing how to publish maven artifacts, and to convince
those that produce Hadoop releases that it is worth their while to generate and
publish them.
