Basically, this spawned out of a request of mine to support Y!'s custom
authentication and access control system for the UIs until Hadoop gets a
security system in place. If this works the way I hope it does :), it would
allow us to enable HDFS browsing and potentially even enable the JT UI in
"write" mode.
