Indeed authentication needs more thought: for example, we should provide some 
ways for a user-defined authentication filter to propagate user information to 
hadoop.  Then, the user information can be used for permission checking.  We 
are currently using a pre-defined web account (see dfs.web.ugi in conf) for all 
web accesses to the file system.

I think we should commit this issue first and then work on authentication in a 
separated jira.
