Steve - the path is obtained by calling new
File("./test-pools").getAbsolutePath(), rather than any concatenation done in
the code, so it's a path returned by Java's own API. We can try doing just new
File("test-pools").getAbsolutePath(), but I don't have any information about
the environment to be able to reproduce this or to be sure that it's not due to
permissions or other problems.
