Please refrain from editing Jira comments and descriptions. It makes the discussion very hard to follow. Descriptions should describe the problem and not present solutions. Comments should discuss solutions. If the problem changes, a new issue should be created. If you wish to modify something you said in a comment, add a new comment. Think of each comment as an archived mail message, since that's what it is.

Should we perhaps only permit project admins to edit & remove comments? Preventing description editing is harder...
