We could add a property to build.xml with a subversion URL. This would point
to a tagged release. The unit tests of that release would be retrieved from
subversion, compiled and run against the current core code. We could use
current versions of MiniDFSCluster and MiniMRCluster and daemons to test wire
back-compatibility. We could also run current tests against old versions of
the daemons.
