+1. Why? 0.19 just got out the door and its freeze was Sep 19. When Hadoop releases a major release, HBase tries to follow the Hadoop release in 1 month or less. We are still putting the finishing touches on HBase-0.19.0 so a little extra breathing room would be appreciated.
