Greetings. After yet another googling for "java base64 implementation", I figured I gotta say something here as well. Well, all right, the argument can be made that JDK shouldn't be supporting all of them obscure data transformation standards, there is a qillion of them out there, after all. But base64 being used well too wide for cryptography, IMHO, the JCA framework should include a cipher for it.
