And you can easily check this by trying the IBM J9 as bootstrap JDK on

If I understand correctly then this shouldn't be an issue with Erik's changes, right? That is, the changes mean the newly built rmic is executed (on the boot JDK). Or maybe you mean there are other calls to rmic that use rmic in the boot JDK?
