Sorry. Hi David, you’re right that OpenJDK doesn’t run natively on OS/400, but OS/400 provides an emulation layer called PASE [1] which allows to run native AIX application on OS/400. The change proposed by Goetz (which is already in JTreg since quite some time) is required to test the OpenJDK AIX Port on OS/400 in PASE mode.
