This is my first direct contribution and I hope I am following the protocol correctly. I ran all tier1 tests after applying my changes and also tested a custom OpenJDK build against my library Byte Buddy where I run many tests for processing type annotations where I compare my custom class file parser against the reflection API. The related tests that previously failed do now work correctly also in the library. Thanks for looking into my changes, I hope the tests can also be included to avoid a future regression.
