I am trying to run HBase as a Data Source for my Map/Reduce. I was able to use the "./bin/hadoop jar hbase.0.19.0.jar rowcounter output test..." from the command line.
But I would like to run it from my eclipse as well, so I can learn and adapt it to my own Map/Reduce needs. I opened a new project, imported hbase.0.19.0.jar, hadoop.0.19.0-core.jar (and the commons-logging) and now I am trying to run the code of RowCounter. But I get the following error message: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/commons/cli/ParseException at org.apache.hadoop.util.ToolRunner.run(ToolRunner.java:59) at hbase.RowCounter.main(RowCounter.java:139) Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org.apache.commons.cli.ParseException at java.net.URLClassLoader$1.run(URLClassLoader.java:200) at java.security.AccessController.doPrivileged(Native Method) at java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass(URLClassLoader.java:188) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:306) at sun.misc.Launcher$AppClassLoader.loadClass(Launcher.java:276) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClass(ClassLoader.java:251) at java.lang.ClassLoader.loadClassInternal(ClassLoader.java:319) ... 2 more Any comments on what I can try to do?
