Hi guys,

Is there any way to save/restore audio unit internal state when the effect is
copied from one clip to another in Final Cut Pro? My audio unit implements
denoise functionality and the algorithm requires to gather some statistics. If
the effect is copied from one clip to another I’d like it to use the already
gathered statistics rather than regathering it again. Otherwise I can hear that
audio in the second clip differs.
Also there is an issue with «Blade» tool. If I split a clip to two parts I can
hear that sound changes when playback goes from the first part to the second.
I tried to use kAudioUnitProperty_ClassInfo property, but it looks to be
purposed for other cases because it’s not written/read during the operation I
described.

Thanks,
Roman
