I finally have time to try to write a v3 Audio Unit (yay unemployment, I 
guess?), and while I have that big sample code from WWDC 2015 
(iOSDemoFilterApp, et al), I’m trying to work from first principles, create a 
trivial unit in a trivial AVAudioEngine graph (input -> my effect -> output), 
and then build up from there.

Thing is: I can see the AUAudioUnitFactory and all my AUAudioUnit helper 
methods getting called, but the contents of the block itself are never executed.

Anyone got any tips for common things I might be overlooking?
