Hi, Is there any way to get Core Audio to only send from one speaker on the iPhone 7 (and newer)? For example, setting AudioStreamBasicDescription.mChannelsPerFrame to 1 or 4, or some special function in AVAudioSession? I have been digging but I can't seem to find an answer to this. I would test these ideas myself but my phone is older, so there's nothing I can seemingly reproduce here.
My application requires that sound only be sent from one speaker. Two speaker playback causes destructive interference. From my understanding, the 7 will correctly separate two channels in landscape mode, but I suspect it may mix the channels and play from both speakers in portrait. Thanks Brian
