...You can see it in
<http://www.eibar.org/blogak/e-gorblog>http://www.eibar.org/blogak/e-gorblog
, sorry if you don't understand it, it is in Basque language. Anyway,
try and go to a post's comments, find one whose author is not linked to
an url of his own, but an strange one in my blog, and click on it to
see the contact form. Please don't send anything to the comment poster,
believe me if I tell you that it sends an e-mail.
I'm on the same Coreblog community of Igor, and just didn't know
that...
To see the feature, click on "bidaltzailea erral" on the 1st comment of
http://www.eibar.org/blogak/e-gorblog/27#comments
However, I'm not so convinced with that form. Anyone can fill that
signing Bill Gates, [EMAIL PROTECTED] and that's what our friend Erral
(also present at this list) will get...
You're right about that, the system is not perfect, but what you point
out could also be done in the old way... I mean, anyone could get the
e-mail address via the mailto: reference, register a free fake e-mail
account and send messages to him. And he could send as many messages as
he wished, while with this other method the messages go through our
contact form, and if we see some form of abuse we can code some filters.
I would rather prefer a system like the one at Gmane, with
the email encoded as a curious image.
Look at the message of Frank at the Gmane archive of this list:
http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.python.zope.coreblog.english/190
and click on his email...
Yes, in fact I've been looking for some captcha methods to implement,
but I haven't done it yet.
