Hello everybody!

This morning I discovered a weird phenomenon: on my COREBlog 1.2.5 the
monthlist_html view messes up UTF-8, but only in old entries:

This one has Greek text and German umlauts displayed OK:

...while one more month back and all UTF-8 is a mess:
http://betabug.ch/blogs/ch-athens/monthlist_html?year=2005&month=7

Some interesting things I noticed about this:
- it's only in the monthlist_html
- but it's only before a certain date (which by chance or incident is 2
years ago), all months views for later dates are OK, all earlier ones
  display this problem
- clicking on the entry shows it correctly, seeing the entry through the
search results or the category view shows it correctly too
- the entries in question are also shown correctly in the ZMI, changing
  them does not change anything
- the Content-Type header is set correctly, manually changing it around
in he browser has no effect
- I have no idea when this started, but I don't think it's that long,
since I remember going to the very old entries a while back

Some background information:
- I'm running Zope 2.8.8, and have been running that for some time
- Platform is OpenBSD 4.0 on MacPPC
- I've made some changes to my COREBlog, but they don't seem to be
anywhere close to this spot, I tried with a "clean" COREBlog on a
clean instance now, and it shows the same problem

Anybody have a clue on this? Things I could try, places I should look
at?

Thanks for any help!

Regards,

Sascha
