We have two different problems: - Not enough developers for coreboot. Having more system data in a database will not help at all. We need more developers to complete existing targets or create new ones. - Not enough system data for flashrom. That's why we tell people to test flashrom and report success/failure. > I do not thing that the myriad PC boards need that much support. The best thing someone new to coreboot/flashrom can do easily is testing flashrom everywhere. After that, the next step is to find a machine supported by coreboot and install coreboot there. Entering real coreboot development is difficult and comes later. Regards, Carl-Daniel -- coreboot mailing list [email protected] http://www.coreboot.org/mailman/listinfo/coreboot
