I learned that flashrom can save an image of the old BIOS and write it to a
new BIOS chip. so i installed it on my Debian lenny AMD64, and execute it
this way "flashrom -r AMIBIOS", but the output is:
-----------------------------------------------
StarLiuLenny64:~# flashrom -r AMIBIOS
Calibrating delay loop... OK.
No coreboot table found.
Found chipset "Intel ICH7/ICH7R", enabling flash write... OK.
No EEPROM/flash device found.
-----------------------------------------------------
no AMIBIOS created. is it a bug of flashrom?
