I just did a quick check -- you can too -- svn diff -r2 util/dtc There are about 1984 lines of changes, most of them to flattree.c
I doubt that cutting over to the newest dtc would be hard. I will try to create a diff and annotate my changes for anyone who cares. The messy modified code in there is my fault. Sorry.
