Well my propoosal for blob/smm was rejected :-)

and normal/smm seems pretty safe.

one thing about blob/vsa -- there is unlikely to be a normal/vsa and
fallback/vsa. vsa is unlikely to have a normal and fallback version --
it's a blob.

I think I'm ok with this for now.
