I doubt anybody was ever working on this. There is, however, support for
AMD's RS780 chipset which might be fairly similar, so if you have 740
hardware, feel encouraged to let us know how far you get with the RS780
code.
According to my sources, AMD 740G is basically AMD 690G, but you may
have to change one or two PCI IDs. That could result in a working
system. I don't have the hardware, so I'm unable to test.
