FWIW, those AMD CPU microcode updates are encrypted, so you should also
include cryptanalysis on your bucket list. Don't believe the video ones
are, though.
To be fair, I think Patrick meant "compare" the patch with what AMD
distributed. If they are the same verbatim – and the authors (AMD etc)
have a verification method – then that may be do-able.
