If this ME/PSP thing matters to you, AMD no-PSP usually have a better
performance than Intel no-ME, but Intel with-ME could have a better
performance than AMD no-PSP. It all depends on which boards you are
comparing between each other. Try to find out how good is the
availability of various coreboot boards to you, then compare their
performance.

There are some manufacturers, i.e. Purism, which are shipping new
devices with coreboot preinstalled, but their price of course is
higher than for something pulled out of e-waste, and the performance
may be still comparable.

no-one has the statistics on coreboot installation. If you want a
good-supported board, check the board status page, choose a board with
a fresh good board status report and read about the known problems on
the mailing list before getting one.

no

external flashing is not hard so not sure why you are trying to avoid it.
