I am not against it, but I would like to avoid making it a hard dependency, since then I would need to install it in order to build coreboot. Furthermore if the coreboot toolchain installs cargo, then I would like it to install rust (and all the cargo packages) locally in the coreboot repository instead of in the HOME directory of the user. I don't want the coreboot build system to touch anything outside of the coreboot repository.
