That would save a half hour on my 10 hour copy! (Obviously not the final answer for my trans-oceanic mount, but every bit helps. Actually, I've convinced our IT to mirror the data to parallel file systems. That is faster access than even my parallel copy solution. ;) Cheers - Bruce
