OK, I understand you are against this patch on dd. I didn't found any references (mail, sources…) to the inplace(1) tool. Could you point me one ? Does it's development started ? Does coreutils accept golang program ? https://github.com/tchernomax/dump-deallocate -- Regards Maxime de Roucy
