Hi, first of all, thanks for all the notes you made at the websites and the work you did on the multibyte support for coreutils.
After trying the patch I see a nice progress in the multibyte support. Obviously there is still much to do. Is there a way we could split the work so that I could help you? Thinking of implementing unfinished multibyte cut -d option might be a good start maybe. Thanks for replies! Sebastián
