Here's one small change to get past a new GCC 15 warning. With that,
it built with gcc version 15.0.1 20250404 and passed "make
check-very-expensive" passed on my x86_64 Fedora 41 system.
Wrong patch attached, but I guessed this is the base16 array,
and pushed this in your name:
