N years ago (N ~= 35?) I -- and many others I'm sure -- wrote a trivial script
that
essentially amounts to
info $1 > /tmp/foo; vim /tmp/foo
along with some colorization and formatting sugar. Entirely reasonable for most
usage.
Cured a lot of my annoyance with the emacs orientation of the 'info' UI.
