Please let me know if you have any suitable profile for below mentioned requirement. *Position: Sr. UDB Database Administrator* *Location: California* *Duration: 12 Months* *Rate: Market* This position was a SQL Server DBA. It will be a Sr. UDB Database Administrator. This position will have a high level of activity associated with it should the interviewing team receive qualified candidates. • CoreMQ Project – Support existing production portfolio and next development phase of CoreMQ. • eCRM project – Sr. UDB DBA to backup/support the primary eCRM DBA. • SQL Server DBA – Backup DBA support for various Windows based applications. Candidate will work under the supervision of the DBA Group Lead and the Project Leader for the assigned project *Experience required* • All phases of software development life cycle and specifically database lifecycle (8 – 10 years) • At least four to five years experience in the design, development and support of large Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence related databases and applications. • Some prior experience supporting applications using SAS and Business Objects is a plus. • Strong background in Data Warehousing design principles and methodologies (ex. Star schema design) and can apply them as needed • In-depth knowledge of DB2 UDB (multi-partition), MS SQL Server and strong system level (AIX) and infrastructure (TSM, EMC, SAN, RAID) understanding. • At least 5-6 years experience on DB2 UDB including versions 7 and 8 and 4 to 5 years experience with SQL Server including versions of 2000 and 2005 • Proficient in UNIX scripting • Experience in resolving software integration problems • Knowledgeable on tools and technologies like Websphere, DB2 Information Integrator and MQ Series • May Require 24x7 production support for the databases • Excellent analytical skills and strong communicative skills and consultative abilities • BS in Computer Science or equivalent Please feel free to call me for any query/suggestion.
