Need GC or Citizens or EAD's *Network Engineer* (Full-time and Summer Intern) seeks an exceptionally gifted individual for the role of Network Engineer. The successful candidate will have excellent network management, troubleshooting, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as a part of a team in a high-paced, demanding environment. Full-time responsibilities include supporting the operation of the firm's global network infrastructure, deploying state-of-the-art multi-vendor networking gear, and documenting LAN troubleshooting/installation policies and procedures. Past internship responsibilities which have included research projects and application/tools development are a definite plus. A bachelor's degree is required, preferably in a technical discipline, as is 1+ years of experience in an Enterprise or ISP network management role. The successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of TCP/IP fundamentals (including Layers 2, 4-7, and content switching); experience with configuration and troubleshooting of Cisco network gear; thorough understanding of LAN networking technologies and network routing protocols; outstanding written and oral communication skills; and strong troubleshooting and creative problem solving abilities. Experience with UNIX (Solaris/Linux) administration is a definite plus, as are network certifications such as CCNA and CCNP. For internships, software development experience may be considered in lieu of some of the above.
