Primary Responsibilities Include: 1. Building and deploying software releases 2. Building and compiling code of varying complexity using automated and manual efforts to ensure complete and accurate code compilation for release into various critical environments 3. Maintaining version control (Team Foundation Server), version control software, code repository and backup files. 4. Improve and streamline build and build processes using change and build management tools and edits to related XML and parameters files Day to day tasks will include: · Manages and prepares builds for .NET web and other projects using Visual Studio .NET 2008, Nant and Team Foundation Server · Identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving problems with the build process and ensures the release has been accepted by all parties. · Installs builds on development integration server and performs Sanity test · Coordinating releases with business, development, operations and testing teams on the release timing to ensure systems are ready for code to be deployed · Isolating developers from build process and branching and merging of source code as needed. · Attending required release meetings · Delivering executables and associated files to staging areas for distribution, test and production environments and follows up on incomplete of missing files · Keeping internal tools and data in sync with daily changes · Troubleshooting and other duties Required Skills · In-Depth level knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 · Prior or current development experience with ASP.NET (C# or VB), MS SQL 2005, JavaScript, XML, HTML, CSS, AJAX. · Prior experience with a build tool such as MSBuild, NaNt or equivalent · Experience writing comprehensive and descriptive documentation · Experience in working with IIS web server, changing web site settings and ASP.NET configuration Thanks & Regards, Joel Garner Technical Recruiter Data Group, Inc.
