Position: Pega PRPC Application
Duration: 6-12 months
Location: Denver, CO
The Senior PEGA PRPC Developer will be responsible for Coding, Developing PRPC
and Java code for multiple enterprise banking applications on the PegaSystems
Research Manager and PegaSystems Smart Investigate platforms.
Responsibilities:
. Primary contributor in designing, coding, testing, debugging, documenting and
supporting enterprise PEGA Applications of applications consistent with
established specifications and business requirements to deliver business value.
. Advanced PEGA PRPC Design, Development, implementation, troubleshooting, and
support including PRPC code, activities, steps, properties, methods, Pega
agents, rule sets, model chains,
. Provide PEGA PRPC development expertise PegaRESEARCH Manager, PEGA Smart
Investigate, and interfaces between PEGA Systems Rules Engine, corporate
specific extensions (WebLogic J2EE based using Java), and enterprise Databases
(Oracle 10g), in a UNIX environment.
. JAVA - Demonstrate senior level Java Development skills including, JAVA,
J2EE, WebLogic Server, EJB, JSP, and Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures. Serve as
mentor to team members less familiar with these technologies.
. May utilize JMeter or JProbe for troubleshooting Java code.
. Develop PRPC and Java for new features and functionality for upcoming
releases.
. Provide recommendations for performance improvements with PEGA PRPC and Java
code for PEGA already in production.
. Developing business solutions by creating new and modifying existing software
applications.
. Company thought leader for PEGA PRPC.
. As a Senior Pega Developer, candidate must have an extensive experience in
Pega with PRPC certification and will serve as a mentor to a small team of PEGA
developers. One of the key responsibilities is to mentor and train the group.
. PEGA Technical and Functional SME.
Experience / Skills:
. Excellent written and verbal communications skill are required.
. PEGA - Certified PRPC Systems Developer and Architect with experience
Developing, coding, and implementing Pega Rules Process Commander for managing
dynamic business processes.
. Proven expertise in advanced PRPC Development and coding including PRPC,
activities, steps, properties, methods, Pega agents, rule sets, model chains,
logs, etc.
. JAVA - Demonstrate senior level Java Development skills including, JAVA,
J2EE, WebLogic Server, EJB, JSP, and Oracle PL/SQL stored procedures.
. UNIX - UNIX shell scripting preferred, UNIX command line navigation a must.
. Serve as mentor to team members less familiar with these technologies.
. Candidates must have experience with the complete PEGA implementation cycle,
including business process modeling, tool installation, development, testing,
and deployment.
. Extensive experience in design, develop and implement complex Web-based
applications in a J2EE WebLogic environment.
. Familiar with Relational database knowledge with Oracle, SQL, or IBM DB2.
. Experienced with System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process.
. Works independently and as a member of a team
