Must have 3-5 years of experience providing 2nd Level Software Support. 2*. Problem Solving/Analytical Skills* - Troubleshoot all distribution related problems and resolve in a timely manner. - Demonstrated ability to apply problem solving/analytical skills independently in order to resolve problems and issues quickly. - Must possess the ability to define and analyze alternative solutions; recognize the most efficient and economical resolution and exercise discretion and sound judgment consistently across all assignments. 3.* Communications Skills* - Excellent written skills should support clear and concise documentation. Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with internal departments and various levels of management. Must be able to always maintain an awareness of user perspective. 4.* Accountability* - Must be able to operate both independently and as a team member with a high level of accuracy. Must be able to adhere to critical deadlines. 5. *Software/Hardware* - Familiarity With: - Computer Associates Software Delivery Option, Computer Associates Asset Management Option, Computer Associates Remote Control Option, SCO Unix, Windows, Perl, and Korn Shell. - PC's, printers, hubs, switches, routers, LAN/WAN, Frame Relay and other standard office equipment. - Windows Project, Word, Excel, Visio and Access - Utilities and operating systems associated with the applicable hardware and software environment. 6.* Physical Demand* - Eyestrain due to CRT screens. The ability to sit for extended periods of time.
