Here is the job description for your reference, please go through it and let me know if you would like to move forward with this opportunity. * * *Position *: *Oracle Data Architect* *Location : Chelsea, MA* *Duration : 6 months * *Introduction* The consultant will evaluate, design and manage database systems in a web based environment. The Contracted Oracle Data Architect will provide database and professional leadership to internal and / or external project team staff to analyze requirements and define specifications for database access, structure, functional capabilities, documentation, security, backup and recovery. The Contracted Oracle Data Architect will perform validation checks, maintain database dictionaries and coordinate the installation of new and revised database systems. This position requires thorough knowledge of relational database systems, Structured Query Language (SQL) and a working knowledge of referential integrity, triggers and stored procedures. *Oracle Data Architect Qualifications* - Certified Oracle Master or an Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification - Extensive experience in installation, configuration and maintenance of Oracle 9i/10g/11g Database Server. - Extensive experience testing, troubleshooting and tuning Oracle 9i/10g databases for scalable environments - Extensive experience in HP-Unix server administration and shell scripting - Minimum of ten (10) years demonstrated database administration experience with the following focus 1. Oracle 9i/10g/11g 2.
