*Hi,* This is Lisa from Ameytek. We are helping our client to fill a role of *ORACLE APEX*. Here is the job description for your reference, please go through it and let me know if you would like to move forward with this opportunity. * * *Position *: *ORACLE APEX* *Location : Raleigh, NC * *Duration : 6 months * Our client is seeking a short term (estimated at 4-6 months) contractor to work with the database team at DENR ITS Division to support the consolidation, development and deployment of applications on the ORACLE APEX platform. Help is needed to support such a system and assume daily application DBA, APEX administration and development support tasks to ensure the performance on the Enterprise ORACLE APEX Server to meet the critical business needs at DENR. *Candidates will be looked upon to:* • Provide expert advice within the organization on building the applications to consolidate outdated applications into web based applications with ORACLE back-end that is in line with DENR's IBEAM framework that is running also on ORACLE. • Develop and establish standards and procedures required in providing such critical Database services to the customers across various programs at DENR. • Provide database integration and migration services as well as required data modeling to support database normalization and web-based development on the APEX platform. • Establish guidelines and provide services for the practices including version control and production deployment. • Mentoring the DENR staff on using the APEX for the mission critical development. • Provide services for accesses to the database and APEX workspace as well as performance administration. • Build production environments according to industries best practice guidelines. • Develop and Manage project schedules as needed. • Provide status report and project reviews as required. • Perform DBA tasks and other ad hoc requests for DB related services. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements: Required Skills: • Minimum 6 years experiences in data migration, integration and web-based application development using ORACLE APEX and other platforms.
