*.* Here is the job description for your reference, please go through it and let me know if you would like to move forward with this opportunity. *Position : **Java & Oracle Development & Maintenance* *Location * * :FL*** *Duration : 6 months * Job Description * Responsible for the development and maintenance of Java application code for an intranet application. * The primary focus of this effort is maintenance and do user support for the existing E-Regulatory system as well as the development of the third and final phase of this system. Deliverables: * Development of the system using Java and Oracle * Ensure that application meets user requirements and District standards * Create and maintain technical system documentation. * Maintain code versions in CVS * Communicate with users to resolve any bugs or issues they have with the system. * Participate in design and code reviews * Communicate issues and progress to project manager Skills Required: * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills is a must * Ability to work independently as well as in a team with other developers * 5 years of Java development experience * Knowledge of database systems (Oracle preferred) * Education: B.S Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field is required.
