Please respond to [email protected] Position: Web Developer Location: Minneapolis, MN (Only Locals) Duration: 6 - 9 months Best Rate: $45/hr C2C Web Developer levels 3-5 (front-end focused) Web Developer Detail Job Description: Develops & implements moderately complex to complex internet and intranet applications on one or more platforms; Makes changes, fixes, or enhancements to applications. Uses knowledge of UI frameworks and web technologies to lead projects resulting in functional enhancements of web-based applications; Creates and utilizes playbooks, guidelines, templates and other technical documentation. Completes business requirements analysis including the evaluation of systems specifications for client web site requirements, leads design presentations; Coordinates with systems partners outside the group to finalize designs and confirm the interpretation of requirements. Performs web security activities and participates in security planning; May perform website and portal monitoring. Minimum qualifications: · Strong experience with core java skill sets involving frameworks and the ability to conceptualize and implement cross tier components; · Candidate must have a solid understanding of the core components of a framework and the life cycle of core components combined with an understanding of the underlying architecture of the framework. · Extensive experience in utilizing IDE tool such as Eclipse on Intelli. · Experience & understanding of application servers · Requires moderate UNIX scripting experience & proficiency. More experienced resources/levels may provide training and mentoring to less experienced developers or a small work team for a specific piece of functionality. UI Frameworks(Struts, Ajax, JSF): · Must have solid understanding of underlying J2EE web components such Servlets and JSP · Experience with and knowledge on front end design patterns · Knows how to wire UI components · Senior-level experience required on Struts or similar MVC framework with making changes to the configuration files and java classes that use the framework. Must understand the significance of configuration of struts framework and the details. · Tiles conceptual knowledge is required; Must know how this framework works and helps to simplify things to include common code in jsps. Middleware/Business Tier(EJB, Spring): · Experience and ability to demonstrate understanding with the various aspects like transaction management, security and etc · Knowledge & experience with configuring the framework with the Application server. · Spring experience, understanding of Inversion of Control, how this is implemented in Spring, how the configuration file looks like and where to change the configuration in case of any new service interface implementation. · Experience with web services with fundamental understanding SOA concepts. Persistence(Hibernate, JDBC, JDO): · Experience with Hibernate Object relational mapping files; Able to implement any entity / database relationships in hibernate mapping files. Must know how the hibernate session works and transaction is handled. · Oracle experience - Must have some SQL ability. Should be able to understand queries that are fired from application.
