DSHS IT requires the services of this worker in order to remediate the HALFILE application. The goal is to upgrade the programming language and integrate the programs using VB.NET running in a Windows 2003 Server environment. The application uses a combination of SQL Server 6.5 and FoxPro databases. This will be remediated to MS SQL 2005. The worker should be able to translate existing methodology, work with a team to develop the remediated application, document the process, and test the system. [Note: The existing application is written in Visual FoxPro (VFP) 6 and VFP 9; the network environment is Novell.] Other Special Requirements: Workers may be accessing sensitive or confidential data; must be able to pass a background check.
