*Position            : **SAP - Functional Consultant*

*Location        * *  :* *Columbia, SC *

*Duration          : 12 months          *

*Note: Must have SAP State Govt Public Sector experience implementing
ESS/MSS*

* *

*Function:*

Finance, Materials Management, Budget, Human Resources, Payroll, Business
Warehouse/Information Systems and Workflow consultants to work independently
or as a part of a team under general supervision.

*General Characteristics*
• Experience with SAP Public Sector implementations is preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with SAP with at least one cycle
implementation, including configuring, scoping, implementation, testing,
post-go-live and production support.
• Provide business process design and configuration services for SAP to
produce business solution suite.
• Consultant must have excellent communication skills for direct interaction
with the project team & customers. Work activity will be performed at the
customer's site in Columbia, SC.
• This position requires strong SAP configuration experience in either the
areas of FI, FM, GM, CO, PS, MM, SRM, SEM, HR, PR. , BW or BIS.
• Work with user areas to analyze and optimize business processes, find and
solve problems with existing business systems and processes.
• Document specifications for business processes and test procedures and
plans. Participate in all aspects of functional and performance testing.
• Work closely with Change Management staff to design and develop the
content of material required to successfully transfer knowledge to
stakeholders. Work closely to achieve full adoption by end users.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems,
Business Administration, or other related field, or equivalent work
experience.



*SKILLS REQUIRED:***

*Skills and Abilities that the resources should possess include:***

   - Previous SAP State Govt Public Sector experience implementing ESS/MSS
   - Proven ability to deliver high-quality results
   - Experience in the development of project documentation.
   - Excellent written/verbal communication and presentation skills (with
   all levels of the organization) and a very good command of the English
   language
   - Ability to work with diverse groups and work within the team
   environment
   - Ability to communicate complex ideas and subjects accurately, clearly
   and concisely
   - Ability to transfer knowledge
   - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office software including: PowerPoint,
   Word, Access, Outlook and Excel
   - Proven organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to build and
   maintain partnerships within different business units
   - Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, complete important time
   sensitive tasks, and adapt quickly to last minute changes.
