Position: System/Applications Analyst Location: SC Duration: 4 m SKILLS REQUIRED: • Proficiency in the Business Objects platform XI R3. Candidate must have completed BO systems administration training for R3. • Business Objects Enterprise XI platform with strong technical knowledge of various components such as Universe, Query as a Web Service, InfoView, Dashboard Manager, Crystal XCelsius, and Web Intelligence etc. • Experience in day to day support of operational BO systems, including installation and maintenance. • Experience in working in a Microsoft environment using Server 2003 and 2008 systems and SQL Server 2005 database. Familiarity with Microsoft system components such as Active Directory. • Ability to learn new applications and skills sets. • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. • Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with business users, management, vendors, and peers. • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills. Ability to complete assignments on time. • Understanding of deployment methodology concepts including design, build, testing, and deployment. The individual will operate with very limited supervision, within standards and processes established for the DOR data warehouse and over-all Agency and IRM procedures. With the understanding that the DOR systems include extremely sensitive and confidential information, position requires complete discretion and trustworthiness. The individual must be customer oriented, and attentive to the needs of DOR BO users.
