Analyzes and documents data integration business requirements and processes. Constructs analysis templates, interface specifications, data mapping specifications, conceptual data process models, including data dictionaries, working knowledge of relational databases. . Provide mentoring, guidance, and direction to junior HL7 analysts and other team members . Participate in CDC HL7 interest groups and forums and serve as an HL7 point of contact with other teams and external partners . Minimal (less than five percent) travel possible to client sites to work directly with clients at all levels throughout the organization to help identify and clarify business requirements and deploy interfaces. Facilitates meetings with clients to gather and document requirements and explore potential solutions. Participates in work groups and work sessions with business and technical consultants to explore business process improvement and re-engineering opportunities. Must be knowledgeable with the interface engine tools, Possess at least a BS in a related discipline, Have at least 5 years of progressive experience working on healthcare interfaces.
