Job Description Job:Senior UI Designer Duration: 3-6+ months Location: San Jose, CA Contract rate: DOE Skills: Web applications, UI, VI, wireframes, IA, HCI, workflow Job Requirements: • At least 6 years of professional design experience preferably with a focus on creating rich WEB applications. Experience in ecommerce is a plus. • Presenting new product ideas and strategies to the executive staff. • Leading the design team to explore design options. • Creating and applying design frameworks that consider the entire client site and user experience. • Setting the design direction for your projects and collaborating with others designers working in the space. • Writing product specifications (IA, work flow, page functionality and layout, etc.), which engineering uses to build the product. • Working with engineering to ensure the product is built according to your specs. • Working with Product Manager to evaluate product success and next steps. • Identifying and leading process improvements that make the UI Design group more efficient and effective.
