Description
Design, develop and implement allocation enhancements which increase
sales and revenue by improving the accuracy and precision of product
placement in the marketplace (Right Car – Right Place).
The role of the members on the project team is to help design and
implement the new system per specifications.
- Should possess project management and organization skills to gain
consensus among team members.
- Excellent communication skills required; both verbal and written to
a technical and business audience.
- Strong customer orientation is required.
- Should be results oriented. High quality, speed, reliability and
dependability a must.
- Must be able to work in a dynamically changing environment, as part
of a team, and with minimal direction.
- Automobile Sales & Distribution knowledge will be a plus.
Responsibilities:
The candidate will be responsible for the following:
• Provide Technical Leadership to Application Development team
comprising UI Developers, Service Component Developers, Database
Developers and Testers.
• Work with the Business Analyst to understand Requirements and
help the technical team with delivery of a fully tested .Net
Application.
• Must be a hands on developer who should be able to guide the
development team with framework code and help with debugging when
necessary – We are looking for people with hands-on coding
skills not just coordinators.
Required Qualifications:
Experience:
Required- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related discipline,
or have equivalent experience, Required – Strong Interpersonal Skills
– ability to work with people with a variety of skillsets.
Required – 7+ years of general IT experience of which 5+ years in a
Technical Lead Role leading a team of over 10 developers Required – 5+
years leading delivery of .Net based systems Required - Experience
with .Net 3.5 (experience with Windows Workflow Foundation, Windows
Communication Framework is needed even if done in POC mode) Required -
Experience with ASP.Net and Windows Sharepoint Required - Experience
with SQL Server 2005 or SQL Server 2008 Required– Doing code build and
release process using Clear Case and development of build and release
process using .net scripts Required – Strong Unit Testing, Integration
Testing and System Testing abilities, including automated testing
techniques using NUnit, etc.
Required - Experience in sizing and configuring IIS, Windows Server,
SQL Server (in load balanced mode)
Knowledge:
Required – Strong Object Oriented Analysis and Design Skills, Web
Services (Must Have) Required - Must have application design
experience using UML (Rational Plug in to .Net) [Must Have] Required -
Good understanding of the MS architecture patterns [Must Have]
Required - Experience with Mercury Load Runner, Mercury Quick Test
Pro, Mercury Quality Center [Must Have] Required - Knowledge of
Rational Req Pro [Must Have] Required - Knowledge of Rules Engine
implementation (iLog for .Net) [Strongly Preferred] Required -
Development of composite applications (esp reporting applications with
a existing transactional UI)[Strongly Preferred] Required - Experience
with Visual Prototyping tools (Azzure, iRise, Serena Composer,
Blueprint) [Preferred] Required - Must have experience in service
oriented architecture [Must Have]
Required- Experience with integrating Portal technologies, Enterprise
Application Integration Solutions, Identity Management Solutions, etc
