Dear researchers, For the 5th consecutive year the Emerging Market Welfare Project and the European Commission Joint Research Centre would like to invite you to test your event extraction systems at the three shared tasks in "The 5th Workshop on Challenges and Applications of Automated Extraction of Socio-political Events from Text" (CASE 2022).
The shared tasks feature detection of politically-motivated conflicts, protests, riots and other socio-political events. You can use the occasion to test your system in real-life text collection and to compare it with other systems.
