Dear Colleagues, We are announcing that the Dev phase of the M-DAIGT shared task has started, and the registration deadline has been extended until 7 May 2025. The Multi-Domain Detection of AI-Generated Text (M-DAIGT) shared task, hosted at RANLP 2025, is bringing together researchers to explore methods for detecting AI-generated text across multiple domains, with a focus on news articles and academic writing.
We invite participation in two subtasks: 1. News Article Detection (NAD): Classify news articles and snippets as human-written or AI-generated. 2. Academic Writing Detection (AWD): Identify AI-generated content within student coursework and academic research across various disciplines. * Participants will receive balanced datasets containing human-written and AI-generated texts from multiple language models. Evaluation will be conducted on the Codabench platform.
