We welcome applications from outstanding candidates with experience in corpus linguistics, language testing, or quantitative applied linguistics, including skills in e.g. corpus design, statistical analysis, and tools such as R, Python or #LancsBox X. Delivered in collaboration with Trinity College London, the PhD will explore communicative competence in English language tests, with implications for fairness, accessibility and social mobility. The successful candidate will be based in Lancaster and work regularly on campus as part of the CASS team.
