This is a political environment so the candidate must be mature and able to handle difficult situations. QA Analyst. "Jack of all trades" Experience writing test cases. Some performance testing experience. Test automation experience (QTP) Mid to senior level with 8-10 years of experience. Focus is on testing methodology and strategy: testing, test management, test strategies, testing methodologies. When speaking about QTP and LoadRunner, everything that they are testing is in Java. The LoadRunner testing is on a Java based application . Performance Testing / Test Design Responsibilities: • Act as liaison for the test team in working session with requirements and development teams. • Prepare technical test design plans for new functionality and features • Conduct meeting to review designs and get final certification of plans • Requirements/Needs analysis and definition • Detailed Scripting (QTP) knowledge • Functional and Technical design analysis • Automated test case design and validation • Functional and Regression Testing • Oral and written documentation of test case design This position will focus on supporting the suite of manual test cases that are part of the regression test bed as well as creating and validating new test cases to be added to the regression test bed as new functions / features are defined. Required Skills • 4 year College degree or equivalent • 6+ years experience in regression and functional testing in complex multi-tiered and multi-technology environments • Experience with HP Mercury Interactive test tools is mandatory, especially Quality Center and Loadrunner • SQL experience required • Oral and written communication skills required • Extensive SDLC experience to include requirements definition, technical test case design and data validation. -- THANKS/REGARDS ANDY.
