*Skills*
*· Perform detailed design on system components
· Rapidly prototype design approaches for evaluation by development
team
· Develop high quality code in using an Agile development methodology
· Strong teamwork, interpersonal, and communication (oral and written)
skills are required for interaction with both technical and non-technical
audiences*
*· 7+ years development experience with a variety of languages
including: *
*o Java
o PL/SQL
o Groovy/Python
o Scala
o and/or Elang. *
*· Deep experience developing applications that scale to hundreds of
thousands of concurrent
users
· Experience developing highly-scalable distributed systems using Web
2.0 architectures
· Experience with caching infrastructures such as Memcached, ehCache
etc.
· Experience with established agile software development
methodologies, such as SCRUM, XP, etc.
· Hands on experience with open source frameworks: Hibernate, iBatis,
Spring, OSGi.
· Extensive knowledge of SOA.
· Solid understanding of OO concepts, design patterns & AOP
· Hands on experience on Test Driven Development (TDD)
· Working knowledge with RESTful Web Services
· Experience and sound knowledge in various representation schemes
like JSON, YAML, XML Schema *
